What is Propolis?
Honey bees make propolis by gathering resin from trees such as poplar, pine and other resin producing trees. After gathering the resin, the bees combine it with wax and some of their enzymes.
We collect propolis from our hives when we harvest honey. Our hives are not transported to pollinate commercial crops. This means they have less exposure to pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides. It also means these chemicals are not present in our wax.

Propolis has antiseptic properties that help keep the hive healthy and you may benefit from its properties as well.
