Hi Friends! My name is Amy and I am the maker behind LES. I design and handcraft each piece in my home studio here in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York state while looking outside at the trees and our bee hives. I create, saw, solder, sand, and polish each piece with love surrounded by my dogs and some really good music. I have appreciated silver and turquoise jewelry since I was a teen and enjoy many signed vintage pieces created by Native American artists. I started silversmithing during the pandemic with the most basic of tools and have found this type of creating resonates with my personality. I enjoy finding old jewelry and repurposing the stones and other elements into new pieces as well as fabricating new jewelry from scratch. I won’t lie- finding stones I love is one of best parts of the creative process. I source my stones from lapidary artists running their own small businesses as they seem to have the most unique stones. I try to keep my pieces affordable but really exceptional stones will increase the price of a piece. I hope my rustic jewelry makes you smile when you wear it and I hope you enjoy wearing it as much as I enjoy creating it.

My husband and I operate Lake Effect Honey. We produce honey and other products from the hives. and we manage our bees organically. That means no pesticides or herbacides are used in our operation. I have included some honey here as well. The bees do good work!
